Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center's sensational hit "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" was a highlight in Katy's career. Katy not only designed and fabricated the seven puppets, but also played the titular character of "The Pigeon". The puppet design featured a double rod Pigeon, three ducklings, a single puppeteer life-sized puppy, and the bus. Some of the materials used consisted of EVA and reticulated foam, hand-dyed F3 fleece, wood, Tyvek, and aluminum rods. These puppets are available to rent.
