The Mitten

The Mitten, which was the first collaboration between Katy Williams Design, JParker Arts, and TheatreWorks brought to life tale of winter creatures. This version reimagined the Ukrainian story in the Colorado mountains. This innovative production featured shadow puppets that were projected onto enormous windows ranging from 8 to 30 feet tall, creating a mesmerizing visual display. As the audience strolled around the exterior of the building, sipping hot chocolate, they were immersed in the narrative, while the puppeteers performed from within the venue. Original musical composition enhanced the adventure, adding depth and emotion to this captivating storytelling event that provided entertainment and fun in a very dark time.
